Much more experimental and social in turn, this collection is the result of work in partnership with Artesanías de Colombia and various artisan communities in our country, framed within the Diseño Colombia program, which is described as follows: “The The Diseño Colombia program was created in 2012, and is dedicated to contemporary artisan design or the development of innovative products. Artesanías de Colombia bets on the articulation with the design industry to produce lasting productive alliances. Every year it invites different designers, architects and national and international companies to explore traditional Colombian techniques and trades in order to create avant-garde products together with artisan communities. The result is functional pieces made with the best quality raw materials, steeped in tradition, and in line with the latest market trends. Some of the pieces that have come out of these collaborations have been part of fairs such as Maison&Objet Americas 2015 and Maison&Objet, in Paris 2017, 2018, 2019.”


In it we have wanted to highlight the valuable manual work of ancestral artisan communities, many unknown but with an aesthetic charge and a quality in the manufacture where the hands of the artisan come to life through products that are valid for today's spaces. The main purpose of this collection is undoubtedly to remove the craft from the sentimental and nostalgic place to make it relevant to today's life.
